OPENING HOURS IN CASE OF TYPHOON OR RAINSTORM WARNING
Information on weather conditions and precautionary measures to be taken in case of Typhoon Signal 8 (or above) or Black Rainstorm are available website of the Hong Kong Observatory, which is regularly updated by the Hong Kong Authorities. In case of a Typhoon Signal 8 (or above), it is strongly recommended not to go out.
According to the level of alert and the indications recommended by the local Authorities, the Consulate General of Italy will remain closed if a Typhoon Signal 8 (or above) or a Black Rainstorm warning is issued by the Hong Kong Observatory. If the Typhoon Signal is lowered to Signal 3, or if the Rainstorm Warning is lowered to a Red Signal before 12:00pm, consular services will resume on the same day from 2:00pm, according to the office opening time.
Appointments canceled because of the whether alert will be rescheduled and each individual will be contacted by the Consulate personnel as soon as the office is reopened.
