Hong Kong Customs and Excise Department. The Hong Kong Customs website. This website contains a section dedicated to the Hong Kong Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) Program. Foreign companies in Hong Kong wishing to join the Program must pass an assessment by Hong Kong Customs. After the assessment eligible companies are issued a certificate of qualification that guarantees savings in time (and in costs) thanks to a simplification of the inspection procedures of the goods that enter and leave Hong Kong and the concession of a preferential lane in customs clearance.
