The call for applications of peer educators for the second edition of the I-ACT (Italy-IRENA Action for Climate Toolkit) training programme is now open.
Co-funded by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) and implemented by the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), the I-ACT (Italy-IRENA Action for Climate Toolkit) initiative aims to spread awareness and knowledge on climate change, renewable energy and sustainable development by empowering young international leaders as peer educators leaders. Through a training-of-trainers approach, the programme will be implemented in two phases: in the first phase, IRENA will select young leaders from different geographical areas for hands-on training through the ‘Toolkit’; in the second phase, the trained young leaders will share the knowledge gained in their home countries through training events.
