The Consulate General of Italy and the Italian Cultural Institute in Hong Kong are pleased to present the fourth edition of ITALIAN SCREENS, organised in collaboration with Broadway Cinematheque.
From 29 October to 8 November, five carefully selected contemporary Italian films will be screened in Hong Kong, offering audiences the opportunity to discover the diversity, originality and creative vitality of contemporary Italian cinema.
The film festival is also part of the autumn festival ITALIA on Stage, presented by the Consulate General of Italy and the Italian Cultural Institute to celebrate the best of Italian culture, business, art and lifestyle in Hong Kong.
The festival will open with Primavera, directed by acclaimed Italian filmmaker Damiano Michieletto.
ITALIAN SCREENS is an international initiative promoted by the Italian Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, coordinated by Cinecittà’s International Department and conceived by its director, Roberto Stabile. The project aims to promote contemporary Italian cinema in international markets while fostering new opportunities for cultural exchange, distribution and collaboration in the audiovisual sector.
