The Hong Kong Baptist University has launched a new Admission Scheme for Olympians (ASO) for admission to all academic taught postgraduate programmes offered by the University with effect from the 2025/26 intake. Following the launch of the ASO, a scholarship programme has also been created, with a total of five scholarships equivalent to a full scholarship (FSE).
The Admission Scheme for Olympians (ASO) targets retired International/Mainland China’s Olympians or equivalent level. Available scholarships include:
- Full scholarship (i.e. annual tuition fee plus living allowance of $52,500)
- Half scholarship (i.e. half of a full scholarship)
- Full-tuition waiver / scholarship
- Half-tuition waiver / scholarship
The duration of the scholarships is one year, with the possibility of renewal for study programmes with longer duration, subject to compliance with certain conditions.
