The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation offers scholarships to foreign students attending the two-year course for opera singers at the Opera Academy or the one-year Global Master “Performing Arts Management”. Only students already selected to attend one of these two courses can apply for the Ministry’s scholarships programme.

The La Scala Academy (Accademia Teatro alla Scala) is one of the world’s most prestigious institutions for comprehensive professional training in all artistic, technical, and managerial areas of the performing arts. Organized in four departments – Music, Dance, Stagecraft, Management – the Academy offers some thirty different courses attended each year by over 1,700 students.

Opera Academy

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation will offer up to ten 9-month scholarships to foreign students attending the course during the academic year 2025-2026. The scholarships will be paid starting from 1st January 2026.

The call for the biennium 2025/27 is now open. The applications’ deadline is 9th April 2025.

Global Master “Performing Arts Management”

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation will offer up to nine 6-month scholarships to foreign students attending the Master during the academic year 2025-2026. The scholarships will be paid starting from 1st January 2026.

The call for the 2025/26 edition is now open. The applications’ deadline is 1st October 2025 for citizens of EU member countries, and it is 17th September 2025 for citizens of non-EU countries.
