ITALIA on Stage, the annual festival of Italian culture, language, art, business and lifestyle in Hong Kong, celebrates its second edition this year.
The two-month autumn programme aims at presenting projects that will offer to the local audience the unique opportunity to familiarize more with a large variety of content focused on Italy and on its relations with Hong Kong.
This year more than 30 initiatives are scheduled, divided into six categories: Exhibitions, Performances and Entertainment, Cinema, Gastronomy, Business and Charity. It is a vast array of events, which create a solid bridge to connect Italy and Hong Kong, boost exchanges, facilitate mutual understanding and contribute to the development of synergies, through a cultural platform where the two communities may meet to share ideas and emotions.
The Festival is especially meaningful this year as in 2024 we celebrate the 700th anniversary of the death of the Italian traveler, writer and explorer Marco Polo, among the most emblematic figures of the dialogue between East and West.
ITALIA on Stage is jointly presented by the Consulate General of Italy in Hong Kong and the Italian Cultural Institute in Hong Kong, and it is supported by the Italian Trade Commission in Hong Kong and by the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong.
