On the occasion of the seminar by Italian journalist and writer Federico Rampini, the official opening ceremony of the photographic exhibition “Marco Polo and his footprints: a photographic exhibition“, produced by the ANSA agency and presented by the Italian Cultural Institute in Hong Kong, was held at the City University of Hong Kong. From today until 14 April, 40 photographs by ANSA offer visitors an immersion into Marco Polo’s journey, focusing on his extraordinary experience of exploration, the places he visited and the cultural impact of his journey on modern history. The exhibition focuses on the most significant places of his journey through historical illustrations and contemporary photographs, showcasing further evidence of the impact Marco Polo’s exploration still has on society today.
