The area meeting of the Italian Chambers of Commerce in Asia, South Africa and Oceania, organised by the Italian Chamber of Commerce in China and the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and Macao, opened in Hong Kong. During the Hong Kong meeting – the keynote event attended by the Ambassador of Italy in China, Massimo Ambrosetti, and the Secretary General of Assocamerestero, Domenico Mauriello – focused on the luxury and high-end market and the positioning of Italian companies in the ASEAN region. “In the context of the relaunch of the strategic partnership between Italy and China, one of our priorities is to support the growth of Italian investments and to rebalance the trade balance. In order to achieve this, strengthening the positioning of Made in Italy in the luxury and high-end sector is one of the main courses of action,” Ambrosetti said in his opening speech.
