HONG KONG: MADE IN ITALY AND ITALIAN LIFESTYLE IN THE SPOTLIGHT

Made in Italy was the protagonist of a number of leading events in the field of fashion and jewellery.

Pitti Immagine Uomo makes its debut in Hong Kong with an important collaboration with Lane Crawford, one of the leading luxury clothing, furniture and accessories retailers in Asia. Pitti Immagine Uomo is the guest curator for Lane Crawford IFC store and Canton Road store until 13 October, with areas specifically curated by Pitti Immagine for the local public that present a selection of collections not only of menswear classics, but also new trends in sustainable and sport/outdoor garments inspired by the three following sections: Fantastic Classic, Futuro Maschile, I Go Out. Among the others, some iconic Made in Italy brands – an expression of traditional Italian tailoring – including Brunello Cucinelli, Borsalino, Doucal’s, Herno, Paul & Shark, Piacenza 1733, Stefano Bigi Milano, will be showcased.  Italian Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China Massimo Ambrosetti and Pitti Immagine CEO Raffaello Napoleone were present at the opening event.

The store opening of the renowned menswear house Pal Zileri at the prestigious shopping centre ‘SOGO’ was celebrated in the same days, affirming the great interest of the local public for the excellence of Italian manufacturing and design.

In addition to men’s fashion, the Italian goldsmith production was also in the spotlight.
