On February 22nd the Italian Ministry of Health approved new monitoring measures against the spread of COVID-19 in the national territory:
1) a mandatory 14-day quarantine for anyone who had close contacts with confirmed COVID-19 patients;
2) anyone who entered Italy in the last 14 days after having been to China (Hong Kong and Macao included) must report to the Health Bureau of the area which he/she is visiting (“ASL”). The Local Health bureau will impose a monitored self-isolation regime at home or in hotel (with active monitoring by the same bureau) or alternative measures of equal force.
The ordinance is in force since February 22nd and will remain valid for 90 days.
