Starting from 10 July 2024, Hong Kong and Macao permanent residents, holders of a citizenship other than Chinese, can request a travel permit to enter China (Mainland Travel Permit).
Mainland Travel Permit is valid for 5 years and allows to travel to China, without a visa, for short-term trips up to 90 days for purposes such as investment, visiting relatives, tourism, business, seminars and exchanges.
