ITALIA on Stage, the annual festival of Italian culture, language, art, business and lifestyle in Hong Kong, celebrates its third edition this year.
The timeline of the festival has been extended featuring activities from September until December 2025, with the aim of presenting projects that will offer the unique opportunity to the local audience to familiarize with a large variety of content focused on Italy and on its relations with Hong Kong.
This year more than 50 initiatives have been scheduled, divided into seven categories: Exhibitions, Language and Literature, Performances and Entertainment, Cinema, Business, Gastronomy, and Charity. The Festival will also include the Partnership with the Hong Kong Design Centre and the Business of Design Week 2025.
The vast array of events aims to consolidate the connection between Italy and Hong Kong, boost exchanges, facilitate mutual understanding and contribute to the development of synergies, through a cultural platform where the two communities have the opportunity to meet to share ideas and emotions.
The Festival is especially meaningful this year as in 2025 we celebrate the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Italy and the People’s Republic of China.
ITALIA on Stage is jointly presented by the Consulate General of Italy in Hong Kong and the Italian Cultural Institute in Hong Kong, and it is supported by the Italian Trade Commission in Hong Kong, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and Macao, Italian Organizations based in Hong Kong as well as the Hong Kong public and private sector.
