Intermediaries are not allowed to present visa applications. <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>It is strongly recommended to present a visa application at least 3 weeks prior to the departure date.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>To make an appointment, applicants must register on the <a href=\"https:\/\/prenotami.esteri.it\/\"><strong>PRENOT@MI<\/strong><\/a> website, enter the required information and their email address (these are essential requirements).<\/p>\n<p>After completing the registration procedure, the applicant will receive a confirmation email following which they will be able to access the program with their username and password.<\/p>\n<p>After the first registration, access will be possible by clicking on \u201cLogin\u201d, then selecting \u201cBook the appointment\u201d and finally opting for the requested service (issuing of an Italian passport or visa application).<\/p>\n<p>To help us provide a satisfactory service, the user is invited to cancel any appointments no longer necessary.<\/p>\n<p>Please be reminded that if the user is already registered with another Italian Consulate, it is necessary to request cancellation from the online booking system of that Consulate in order to finalize the new registration with the Consulate General of Italy in Hong Kong with the same username and password.
