LATEST RULES FOR ENTERING/ RETURNING TO ITALY

ENTRY RULES IN ITALY FOR PASSENGERS ARRIVING FROM THE PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF CHINA

The provisions relating to all passengers entering Italy from the People’s Republic of China (including Hong Kong and Macao), in force until 28 February, have not been further extended. The obligation to carry out a molecular or antigenic Covid test with a negative result prior to departure has therefore ceased to have effect. Covid checks on arrival for those arrivng from China have also been discontinued.

As of June 1, 2022 a Green Pass or equivalent certificate is no longer needed to enter Italy. 

**ATTENTION: In case of connecting flights, it is necessary for the passenger to check the conditions and requirements imposed by the authorities of the transit countries (type of Covid-19 test, vaccination, language required for certification, quarantine/self-isolation conditions, etc.), in addition to those required by the Italian authorities.
