TRAVEL ALERT

The Hong Kong Government has just informed the Consulate General of Italy that, starting from the midnight of Sunday 1st March (during the night between Saturday 29th February and Sunday 1st March), the following measures will entry into force:

1) all travelers, resident or non-resident in Hong Kong, who have been to the Italian Regions of Lombardy, Veneto and Emilia Romagna in the previous 14 days from their arrival in Hong Kong will be placed in a mandatory 14-day quarantine in the quarantine
centers set up by the Government.

This measure does not apply to passengers in airport transit in Lombardy, Veneto and Emilia Romagna.

2) All travelers who have been to other Italian Regions (Lombardy, Veneto and Emilia Romagna excluded) in the previous 14 days
from their arrival in Hong Kong, will be given medical guidance at their arrival and will not be subject to any restriction.

These measures will remain valid until further communications.
