ITALIAN CERTIFICATE OF NO CRIMINAL RECORDS

ITALIAN CERTIFICATE OF NO CRIMINAL RECORDS

Italian citizens who need an Italian Certificate of No Criminal Records (Certificato del Casellario Giudiziale) and/or of Pending
Charges (Certificato dei Carichi Pendenti) for the Authorities of Hong Kong or Macao, must apply directly to the geographically competent Tribunal in Italy.

The request can also be submitted by a third party if authorised formally by the applicant.

To this end, we recommend that you consult the websites of the competent tribunal.

It should be noted that Certificates of No Criminal Records (Certificato del Casellario Giudiziale) and/or of Pending Charges (Certificato dei Carichi Pendenti) refer to two different articles of law respectively, i.e. to art. 24 and 25 of Presidential Decree 313/2002 (as amended by Legislative Decree 112/2018), both of which must be requested.

In order to be valid abroad, these certificates must also be legalized with Apostille by the competent Provincial Government (Prefettura).
