ITALIAN CERTIFICATE OF NO CRIMINAL RECORDS

ITALIAN CERTIFICATE OF NO CRIMINAL RECORDS

Those who need an Italian Certificate of No Criminal Records (Certificato del Casellario Giudiziale) and/or of Pending Charges (Certificato dei Carichi Pendenti) issued by the Italian Tribunals, must apply directly through the following website: Servizi online - Casellario Giudiziale.

The request can also be submitted by a third party if authorised formally by the applicant.

It should be noted that Certificates of No Criminal Records (Certificato del Casellario Giudiziale) and/or of Pending Charges (Certificato dei Carichi Pendenti) refer to two different articles of law respectively, i.e. to art. 24 and 25 of Presidential Decree 313/2002 (as amended by Legislative Decree 112/2018), both of which must be requested.

In order to be valid abroad, these certificates must also be legalized with Apostille by the competent Provincial Government (Prefettura) whose list can be found at the following link: Il portale delle Prefetture-UTG.
